2023 Spring-10U House-Teen Umpire Registration

NVGSA utilizes teen umpires for our 10U games.  This is an excellent opportunity for teens age 14 and up who love the game and wish to participate in a new and unique way.  Umpiring will deepen their own understanding of and broaden their experiences with the game (not to mention they will makes some cash or earn some community service hours).  All of our teen umpires are carefully selected and undergo a mandatory training regime.  Registration is required, click the link below to complete the registration form.  After submitting your registration form you will receive additional instructions and a list of items to bring to training.

Opened: 01/01/2023
Closes: 04/15/2023

2023 Dimensions-SPRING Registration

NVGSA is pleased to offer our 10U, 12U, and 18U house players even more opportunity to take the field under the Dimensions program.  The Dimensions program is offered as an augmentation program for NVGSA’s traditional House league.  You MUST be registered for a HOUSE team first before registering for DIMENSIONS.

By registering via the below link, your daughter's name will be added to a list of players that have expressed interest in playing Dimensions this season.  As the season approaches, the appropriate age groups' coach will reach out to notify you of the selection process for this season.  We expect that the cost for the season will be about $100 though no charges will be applied until the roster is finalized.

Please remember that the goals for our Dimensions teams are to:

1. Allow selected NVGSA house players from across the league an opportunity to play on the field with one another irrespective of regular house team or geographic divisions (east/west).

2. Allow selected NVGSA players additional time to play at a competitive level against teams from across Northern Virginia, primarily in Fairfax and Arlington counties.

3. Introduce selected NVGSA house players to a higher level of competitive play as a gauge for potential travel level participation with the NVGSA Firebirds, if interested.

4. Raise the overall level of play within the regular NVGSA House program by giving players extra opportunities to advance their skills.

If you have other questions about the Dimensions, please click "Dimensions Frequently Asked Questions"  or click the "Dimensions" tab at www.NVGSA.org.

2023 House - Spring Scholarship Registration

NVGSA proudly offers generous registration scholarships to families in need of financial assistance.  While it is not necessarily a requirement for the scholarship, most families already participate in the Fairfax County Public Schools Free and Reduced Lunch Program, or in similar government assistance programs.  Any family seeking the scholarship need only complete this simple request form to be considered.

Once received, the NVGSA Board of Directors will consider the request and inform the applicant via email or telephone.  Any questions regarding registration scholarship application status should be forwarded to NVGSASoftball@yahoo.com.
