You may find yourself wondering: why doesn't NVGSA let me roll straight from fall season into spring registration? Well, we want you to enjoy your winter activities, sports, and family time! There will be plenty of time for spring softball registration once 2026 hits! If you need a reminder, make sure you are either already a member of the site or sign up for the email list on the front page. We'll email you the first day registration opens!
January 1 - Registration for House, Dimensions, and teen umpires opens!
February 23 - VHSL softball tryouts may begin (good luck to all trying out!)
March 1 - Waitlist opens, late fee applies
March 12 - Team notifications may begin
March 14 - practices may begin (permits pending)
March 28 - first games
March 30 - April 3 - FCPS spring break
April 11 - spring season celebration (opening ceremonies)
May 25 - 27 - Memorial Day weekend
June 6 - 10U/12U/18U tournament
June 13 - House All-Star games and 6U/8U Jamboree
June 17 - FCPS last day of school
June 20 - 21 - Jay White Memorial Northern Virginia Fastpitch All-Star Tournament
