NVGSASoftball@yahoo.com. The Board of Directors will promptly review the photo for general suitability and post it to the NVGSA 2013 Spring Photo Contest photo album, located in the NVGSA Pictures section of the website. Feel free to add a caption - but keep it family-friendly, please.
During the last week of the regular season we will post a public poll on the website to determine the contest winner. The winning photo will be announced via the website and used on the NVGSA front page all summer long!!!
Rules & Agreements:
1. All photos must be posted by 19 May 2013. Only photos submitted via email to
NVGSASoftball@yahoo.com by 19 May 2013 will be considered eligible for the contest. Photos submitted directly to NVGSA Board members via private email correspondence (via email with addresses other than
NVGSASoftball@yahoo.com) will not be eligible for the contest.
2. NVGSA will announce a contest winner on its public website by 31 May 2013 following the results of member-wide poll.
3. All photos should promote the spirit of softball and be suitable for family viewing on a public web site. Photos must represent original art works from NVGSA players, parents, coaches, volunteers, or family members only. Photos must also be from NVGSA events during the spring 2013 season.
4. All photos are subject to review by the NVGSA Board of Directors for public suitability. The NVGSA Board of Directors further reserves the right to delete any photo for any reason, without notice, and to remove the photo from the contest.
5. Submitter agrees that all photos submitted to the NVGSA website are eligible to be publicly posted by the league and are submitted free of any rights, obligations or expected royalties. NVGSA will not claim rights to the photos, but NVGSA will be free to continue to use the photo until such permission is rescinded by the submitter in writing or via official league email.
6. At the request of the submitter, NVGSA will remove a submitted photo and make no further public offering of the image.
7. All minors submitting photos must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If a submission is believed to be from a minor, the NVGSA Board of Directors will attempt to gain a parent or legal guardian's permission prior to posting the photo to the public website.
8. NVGSA will not be held responsible for the unsolicited receipt of any lewd or indecent photos and will not be subject to prosecution based on submission of such photos. NVGSA will make every reasonable attempt to monitor for and promptly remove or delete any such submitted photos and will take the necessary actions to prosecute offenders in accordance with county, state, and federal law.
9. Submission of a photo constitutes the submitter's acknowledgment of and complete agreement to the rules outlined above.
