Co-Scheduler

The NVGSA scheduler handles scheduling for all practices for NVGSA recreational and Dimensions teams as well as Firebirds. This involves working with our house VP to receive permit information and working with commissioners and coaches on practice night preferences in advance of each season. In addition the scheduler creates the game schedule for all recreational divisions and coordinates with the interleague group to provide information for interleague game scheduling where appropriate. For Dimensions, 12U, and 18U the scheduler works with our umpire service, NVSUA, to procure umpires and update them on any cancellations or rescheduled games. This requires being responsive to coaches throughout the season. The scheduler also works with our board to create game schedules that work well with league special events such as picture day and opening ceremonies. The first season as scheduler will involve working alongside our current scheduler for the important transfer of information before picking up the duties full-time as sole scheduler.

Every season NVGSA needs many coaches, assistant coaches, team parents, and other helpers. Volunteering for these roles takes place during registration and can be done below during times when registration in open. You may contact the appropriate age-group commissioner for more information.
